You are Wonderful!

Like many of you, I struggle when it comes time to make a masculine card.  I just love the ribbons and bows and glitter and other frou frou.  This card, however, is simple to create for the men in your life.

Season of Thanks

I am in love! The Gather Together bundle showed up on my doorstep earlier this week, and I just now had a chance to play with it.  Making it even better ... the Tufted embossing folder was also in the package.  This folder adds amazing dimension to your card ... I know that I will use it a lot!

Woven Threads and Path of Petals Thank You Card

Earlier today, I was looking at a card designed by Dena Rekow of The Creativity Cave.  It was a simple card, yet it was also very elegant looking.  I pulled out my camera and my supplies and began making my version of the card.

Slow but Sure CAN win the race!

I've been a bit remiss adding content to my blog.  We painted the laundry room last week, and then I was itching to create.  So create I did!

Here are some cards that I made using a One-Sheet Wonder tutorial from Connie Stewart. I did not use SU dsp for this project.  I had a pack of paper that I wasn't particularly fond of, so I thought that it wouldn't hurt to at least cut it up.  Lo and behold, when it was cut I really liked it!  I added some additional colored paper as well as some bling.

All my own design

I created this a few days ago while waiting to go back to school for our movie night.  I’m so excited as to how it turned out.

Everything is a Stampin’ Up! product except for the ribbon ... gotta deplete that stash!

Anticipation - Week 1

It's been a loooonnnnng time since I've posted.  I decided that I really need to get my craft on, so this is the first post of 2019.  (Gee, that's the first time I've written/typed 2019!).

I was participating in a group on Facebook called Make One Christmas Card Every Week Throughout 2019. (Guess I am no longer a member.)  I'm also in a group called Card Making - USA, so that's where I will be posting my cards with the label CMA. This week's theme is Anticipation. My little girl (photo courtesy of Peppermint Perks) is peering through the window.  Is she watching for visitors ... maybe Grandma and Grandpa ... maybe Santa ... maybe watching for the first snowflake of the season?

Check back soon for the next theme!
