Pretty in Pink

I've been so eager to make this card!  Ever since I saw it on mel stampz's blog, I have had an obsession with it.  I looked everywhere for the embossing folder (Cricut Seeing Spots) and finally resorted to ordering it online. It came in the mail yesterday ... today after my first gifted class was finished, I had the time, energy, and patience to do it.

It's going to a sweet friend for her birthday.  I hope she likes it!

I made this hanging 4x4 card to send to sister and the runner for their hospitality.  Sister also taught me so much ... I can only hope to make things as "purty" as she does :).

Signature, take 5

Okay, here goes!  I have been trying to get a signature added to my blog.  I think that this is the final one!

Motivation

I wanted to make a mini album with some of my favorite motivational quotes.  I decided instead to start with this 4"x4" standing page (not sure what to call it, so that's what it is).

I had a funderful time visiting sister and attending the Stitch Craft Create convention on Thursday. The highlight -- by far -- was sitting front and center to see Tim Holtz demonstrating his techniques.
